Do I need previous writing experience? No experience is necessary. This class is restful and supportive and offers a writing experience that can boost your immune system, relax pressure in the body, improve memory and move you past the trauma chronic illness tends to create.

What is Gateless Writing? Gateless is based on creative brain science that helps to still criticism and resistance in the mind, so you can create from a place of fluidity. Feedback is always encouraging and helps you see what is strong in your writing. Anything not working tends to fall away naturally—both on the page and in your life.

Restorative yoga teacher, Jessica Labbe teams up with author and Gateless certified writing teacher, Sylvie Kurtz in this two-hour, intimate workshop combining restorative Yin yoga and expressive writing to relieve your stress, ease your mind and provide you with a compassionate community so you can finally receive the reassurance and gentle attention we all crave.

What is Yin Yoga? A restorative, a form of yoga that relaxes the muscles and helps to lengthen and “massage” the connective tissues to create more ease and fluidity in the body, particularly the joints.
