Extras

Readers’ Guide

Allegra's Sugar Cookie recipe.

Cocoa-Mushroom Mix — I’ve had requests for Allegra’s cocoa-mushroom mix. I make my own with one teaspoon of Host Defense My Community mushroom powder and a teaspoon of unsweetened cacao. But if you prefer a ready-made mix, try the one sold by Joyberry Farms. What I like about it is that it doesn’t have any sugar, so you can add whatever you want.

Praise for this book

A great Christmas story that has a bit of love, a bit of mystery and a bit of magic. What else could you want?

This has come to be my favorite Christmas series. This book is no exception as like the others it is well written. You feel like you know the characters and you root for them and feel their emotions. I highly recommend this book and the three previous books in this series.

Of course having a dog on the cover catches my eye right off the bat but it is more the author's reputation of writing feel good books that you can relate to that makes me want to grab it off the shelf.

Life has often been struggle for Allegra. And now that she is in Brighton, she has a job she wants to keep, friends and feeling that this home. Then, the Christmas Star disappears.

Mystery, romance, second chances and family are wonderfully combined in another must read book from Sylvie Kurtz.
